This is, in a way, something completely different. As you might or might not know, I got stuck in my old ways. I had decades old projects still going, even though I didn't really have much to give to them anymore.

So I decided, it is time for a rebirth. In a way, it succeeded, but I was still a bit stuck, since I did what I know best, planning things. So I had my next 100 albums lined up. Sure, they were all really new stuff, but I was still stuck in my old ways, too much planning. This is my 100th album btw.

This is here because of that. I decided, I'll just sometimes make music. Not based on anything I want to make, but whatever happens to come out of me at that point. There might be another "jarno vain" release in the future, or there might be not. In any case, this was super freeing to make.

But what is this musically then? My friend described it as "cinematic 8bit", which is fitting, but not the whole story. I'd also add a bit of "demo disc aesthetic" into the mix. Whatever it is, this is the purest form of me. This is me. From the heart. From the mind. I hope you enjoy!
